Chapter 8

(Knowing) Define the term “Metacognition”?

(Analyzing) Identify and relate a situation in your own life where you experienced a positive transfer?

1 comment:

  1. 1. Metacognition is the knowledge and beliefs about the nature of human cognitive processes, or "thinking about thinking".

    2. One situation of positive transfer I have experienced is math in general. I can always use a formula or concept from a lower-level math to better solve a higher-level math problem. The knowledge builds on top of itself, providing a positive transfer.

    Tab,
Your second question can also be considered applying because you are having us relate to our own lives - which I really enjoyed about your question because to really master a concept (in this case, positive transfer) it is best to relate it to personal experience.
