1) Explain the concept of perspective taking in the context of a classroom environment (knowing)

2) How can we take what we learned in Chapter 3s section on aggression and bullying and then utilize it in a classroom setting in order to avoid instances of aggression and bullying? (evaluate / create)

In my classroom, Luke, a 3rd grade student with an undiagnosed yet obvious learning disorder, refuses to engage in class and often puts his head down on his desk and falls asleep. In order to assess this issue, i would need to inquire into various factors in order to determine what might be causing this behavior? Are there issues at home (social) which are causing him not to sleep at night, thus creating the issue in my classroom. Is there something going on which is causing him emotional distress? Is he not aware of my classroom expectations? Does he have some type of cognitive disability which is causing the behavior? All of these factors would need to be explored.
